During fishing season, we spend a lot of time down on our farm in Cuba, Illinois. It’s our family tradition to do a fish fry every week when it’s warm outside! For over 15 years, we’ve been bringing together farm-caught fish, fresh veggies, friends, and family for these special dinners.

I’m always looking for ways to keep things interesting, and over the years, I’ve perfected some easy and absolutely delectable sauces to pair with all our best fish fry recipes. This simple lemon butter sauce is a perfect example! Keep reading for the recipe and some delicious dipping ideas.

Lemon Butter

Is there anything that’s not more delicious dipped in melted butter? I’ll wait. Try this delectable savory dipping sauce on anything you can think of—and I mean that!

Ingredients

¼ cup (4 tablespoons) unsalted butter, melted
1 large garlic clove, grated on a microplane or very finely minced
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Instructions

In a small saucepan, melt the butter. When melted, add the garlic and lemon juice.
Pour the sauce into a bowl and serve with vegetables or fish.
