I love the holidays because for me, it's cookie season! Attendees are invited to bring a batch of homemade cookies, along with the recipe you used, for other amateur bakers to taste and take home. Not a baker? Bring some cookies from your favorite bakery! The Library provides cookie tins so everyone can take some cookies home.

For my cooking demo, I will be serving hot chocolate and sharing my recipe for Homemade Hot Chocolate Mix and Marshmallows. It's a perfect recipe for warming cold nights and also makes a great gift for the holidays!

The Recipe

Hot Chocolate Mix & Marshmallows

Hot chocolate holds a special place in my heart—it brings back memories of crisp winter days at the ice skating rink. Not too long ago, my grade school bestie and I caught up over a mug of this homemade hot chocolate, and she loved it so much that I gave her the whole batch and made myself another!
