Hudson Grace

Book Signing & Recipe Tasting

Date: Saturday, November 8, 2025
Time: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Location: 339 Park Ave, Glencoe, IL 60022

Come spend a cozy afternoon with me at Hudson Grace in Glencoe. I’ll be signing books, sharing sips of Vanilla Sifters, and serving up some homemade Cuccidati: classic Italian fig cookies that my family’s been making for generations. The best part? 100% of proceeds go to local children’s charities.

Hudson Grace is that perfect blend of cozy and classy—like a well-set holiday table. I’m so excited to host this event in their beautiful Glencoe shop! They have everything from classic tableware and linens to unique little goodies for entertaining. I hope to see you there!

Recipe

Cuccidati (Italian Fig Cookies)

This recipe is from my grandmother, which likely came from her grandmother and from her grandmother before that. They are called cuccidati or buccellati in Italy, and hail from Sicily. The dried figs, nuts and citrus tell the story of the island’s many influences, from the Middle East to Greece. Get the recipe...
